News of the execution of Mr. Hamid Manafi was published in the Ettela’at newspaper on January 19, 2002.

The Intelligence Office Agents at a city in northern Iran arrested Mr. Manafi a few months after he committed the crime and escaped. There is no specific information on his arrest and detention.
