The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 75/191, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit an interim report on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Human Rights Council at its forty-seventh session. The present report covers the period from 1 June 2020 to 17 March 2021.
