From the report's preface:
The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 74/167, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit to it to at its seventy‑fifth session a report on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The report covers the period from 1 October 2019 to 10 June 2020. It contains information on the patterns and trends in that regard, the progress made in the implementation of resolution 74/167 and recommendations to improve its implementation.
