In the present publication the Abdorrahman Boroumand Foundation has gathered the Persian translation of three political essays by late Vaclav Havel, Open Letter to Gustav Husak (1975), the Power of the Powerless (1978), and the Spirit of Charter 77 (1986). A short biography of President Havel, and hitorical introduction precede each essay, so that Iranian readers could better understand the text and the political context of its writing. Two of these essays had been previously and separtately published on ABF's website. This version contains the three essays along with the translation of Charter 77 in PDF format.
