Report of the Secretary-General on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran presented to the General Assembly on September 2015.
The present report is submitted in accordance with General Assembly resolution 69/190, in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit report to the seventieth session of the General Assembly. The report reflects the patterns and trends in the human rights situation in Iran and provides information on the progress made in the implementation of that resolution, including recommendations to improve such implementation.
